Mazotos is located in the South Larnaca District of Cyprus, being only 20km west of Larnaca and its international airport. Easy access to Larnaca, Paphos and their airports via the new motorway network which the government’s project to link all the main cities on the island, with four lanes. High speed highways. Still enjoying its local charm in an ever changing developing World, Mazotos is primarily a market garden town and also producing the delicious Halloumi cheese.
It is hosting three typical Cypriot tavernas all providing excellent meals, snacks and drinks with warm hospitality. There is also a champion back gammon team to be found in one taverna which overlooks the village! There are three well stocked village supermarkets with the staff all happy to pass the time of day with you.
The Camel Park
A few minutes’ drive from The Grove Spa is an entertaining day out where you can take a ride on a camel, feed camels and other animals, play in the adventure playground/bouncy castle, take a cooling dip in the beautiful pool of the gardens or enjoy a relaxing drink and meal in the restaurant.
